Michael Rishawn is an American actor best known for his work on Broadway, television, and film. To date, Michael can be seen guest starring on CBS' FBI: Most Wanted, Disney’s hit series BUNK’D, and Raising Dion for Netflix.
He can also be seen as Craig in John-Michael Powell’s independent feature, The Send Off, which debuted at Cinequest.
Theatrically, Michael originated the role of Eddie in the world premiere play Handjob opposite The West Wing’s Steven Culp, and Jordan E. Cooper’s high-octane Broadway comedy Ain’t No Mo' produced by Lee Daniels.
Aside from theatrical work, Michael’s warm yet engaging voice narrates effortlessly through many literary genres found on Audible. He’s provided facial and motion capture performance for the WWE interactive video game franchise, and has been the face of numerous commercial campaigns and brands ranging from Pepsi, Bose, Hennessy, and Verizon.
An air force brat, Michael was born overseas and spent his formative years moving abroad and within the US. He holds an MFA in drama from the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and BFA from The Hartt School, University of Hartford. He has also received extensive classical training in the apprenticeship program at The Shakespeare Theatre of DC under the tutelage of Michael Kahn.
