Michael Rishawn is an American actor recognized for his work on Broadway, television, and film. He has guest-starred on notable shows such as CBS’s “FBI: Most Wanted,” Disney’s hit series, “BUNK’D,” and Netflix’s “Raising Dion” and “Survival of the Thickest” (opposite Michelle Buteau). In addition to his television roles, Rishawn appears in the independent feature The Send Off, directed by John-Michael Powell, which premiered at Cinequest (available on Prime Video/Apple TV).

On stage, Rishawn has originated roles in several acclaimed plays: Table 17, for which he received a Lucille Lortel Award nomination and was recognized as a Critics’ Pick from The New York Times, winning two Vivian Robinson AUDELCO Awards; Handjob, Echo Theatre (opposite “The West Wing’s” Steven Culp); and Jordan E. Cooper’s high-octane Broadway comedy Ain’t No Mo’ produced by Lee Daniels.

He has performed at Carnegie Hall, served as the face of several nationally recognized American brands, and narrated various titles on Audible. Additionally, he has performed motion and facial capture work for the WWE 2K22 franchise.

Born overseas to Air Force parents, Michael spent his formative years moving abroad and within the United States. He holds an MFA in drama from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and a BFA from The Hartt School, University of Hartford. He has also received extensive classical training in the apprenticeship program at The Shakespeare Theatre of DC under the mentorship of Michael Kahn.
